Brahmasutra & six Indian Philosophy
There are six systems of Indian philosophy which uphold the authorities of Vedas. These are Nyaya, Vaisheshika, Sankhya, Yoga,Purva Mimansa & Utter Mimansa. ThevJain & Buddhist schools of thought do not recognizes the supremacy of Vedas.
Out of these 6 darshans one is Brahma Sutras known as Badarayan Sutra, Utter Mimansa or Bhikshu Sutras. It is the last one among shad darshans which tell a lot of Upanishadic philosophy which reject the conclusions of all others like Buddha & Jain philosophy. In this connection we have to remember that each of the systems of philosophy has its distinct world view, trying to find out answers to the fundamental questions of philosophy such as where this world has been emanated, how it has come to present shape or structure and how it is functioning. All these basic questions are being discussed in each in a separate manner to find out an answer or answers which may or may not be liked by all.
